Salary: £19,242 to £21,751 (pro rata for working part time)

The position is offered as: Full-time  Temporary

Details of Hours / Contract Length: 37 hours per week (30 hours per week would be considered)

Description of Vacancy:
The roles are initially on a temporary contract until the end of March 2019, however there is the possibility of an extension.

Do you have experience of coaching / counselling and have active listening skills with a drive to enabling clients to make positive change?
You will be working with clients in a range of settings; within GP surgeries, community venues, offering a person-centred service.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills and have sound administrative skills. You will be part of a supportive team, working closely with your peers, reflecting on practice, and have opportunities to work closely with clinical teams in the provision of our non-clinical coaching service.

Improving life for people with health conditions through coaching and self-management is an area of growth, as set out in the 5 Year Forward View NHS England. This is an exciting time of development of the service as we look to expand our co-location of coaches within Primary Care.

An enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) police record check in relation to vulnerable adults (previously known as CRB check) is required for this role.

Ability to travel across Dorset. Driving licence and use of own vehicle is required for this role - work related travel expenses are reimbursed at 45p per mile.
