For photos of the 2017 event please visit this link https://b-townyouth.co.uk/latest-news/photo-galleries/bournemouth-young-volunteer-awards-2017/ Young volunteers must keep a simple record of their volunteer hours which is verified by their Youth Leader to be eligible for the awards. One of the Youth Leaders taking part said "It was great to be able to present an award to Hannah in recognition of her volunteering. She does so much as a young volunteer and it was wonderful to show her how much she is appreciated".
Since its launch in August 2013 BYV has issued over 2,200 certificates to young people, recognising over 66,000 hours of volunteering between them.
If you are aged 13-21 (25 for SEND) or work with this age group then we would love to hear from you and start recognising and celebrating your volunteer hours!
